Abstract

Standardization is much more than what you think: National/international official standardization bodies, private standardization organizations, private company standards, and research procedures. The lecture will address different issues such as pros/cons, structures, and procedures, the impact of standardization, and fields of use. Besides, a few cases of study will be presented. Students will be invited to participate during the lecture.
